The condition survey is conducted at time of export to confirm the condition of goods and their packaging to determine whether the condition of goods conform to the terms of contracts, or to confirm the condition of cargoes at time responsibility for the cargo is transferred from one party to another. It is also carried out when large quantities of goods, such as iron or steel heavy cargoes and project cargoes are transferred from the exporters to the shipping agents and consignees.Our surveyors collect essential data to clarify responsibility through checking each cargo carefully and a descriptive report on cargo condition including details of visible damages, physical defects and/or structural abnormalities, which 3rd parties might claim to be defects, is submitted to the principal.
