The measurement and weight survey is conducted to ascertain the cubic measurement, weight and size of bulky, heavy or lengthy cargo in advance to facilitate strategies for prevention of damages to cargo, ship, various equipment and bodily injuries.

In addition to measurements, any discrepancies between the document and the goods as well as damages, if any, will be discovered and promptly reported to the parties concerned.

Moreover, the measurement and weight figures certified by the company can be used for clearance of goods, calculation of costs for stevedore, lighters, warehouse rent, overland freight and other such costs.

Our Certificate, List of Measurement and/or Weight is extremely helpful in preparing the “Packing List” could be presented as documentary evidence proving the accuracy of the “Packing List”.

This survey is also carried out when the quantity on the Bill of Lading is doubtful or the weighing and measuring at place of landing is required by terms of contract, law etc. for freight settling purposes. Furthermore, the certification can be used to calculate the ocean freight and related charges.
